Summary
Clinical Trials Day, organized by ACRP since 2014, is a global celebration held each May 20 to honor clinical research professionals & trial participants. ACRP leads this annual campaign with resource toolkits, video storytelling & activations that empower pride in the profession, foster peer recognition & raise public awareness of clinical research’s vital role in improving health outcomes. The Powered by Purpose theme honored their contributions during a year of research funding & staff cuts.
Goals & Objectives
Our objective is to champion the clinical research workforce by amplifying their personal stories and video testimonials, while fostering global connection through free digital and print toolkits that encourage celebration, professional pride, and visibility across workplaces and social platforms.
Results & Impact
The campaign earned 325,000 digital impressions, 226,000 engagements, and reached 100 countries. Video content and toolkits sparked global participation, with thousands sharing stories, celebrating in-office, and engaging online—entirely through organic outreach & a powerful word-of-mouth strategy.
