About This Project

Summary

Our nationwide mine awareness campaign used a multi-platform strategy to reach a vast audience. We deployed PSAs on TV, radio, and social media, as well as billboards and video ads in trains, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We created an educational course on the Diia.Osvita platform and produced a documentary featuring a pioneering female deminer and her dog. Our TV PSAs were broadcast on four national and thirty regional channels, while radio PSAs aired on five waves and in 1,244 ATB stores. Ad

Goals & Objectives

We disseminated explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) content using social and behavioral change communication (SBCC) principles. This targeted educational content raises awareness about safe behaviors and promotes official safety messages like "Stop, Don't Touch, Call 101" to reduce accidents.

Results & Impact

Our PSAs garnered over 40 million views. TV PSAs on the United News TV Marathon and Suspilne's channels accumulated 14.1 million views. Digital content reached 6.4 million views. This exposure led to a 28% increase in mine awareness and 69% increase in remembering emergency number 101.
