Summary
Bellweather partnered with MetroPlusHealth to launch one of the first AI-powered “Find a Doctor” tools in healthcare. The platform lets New Yorkers search for care in their own language using natural language—typing “I have stomach pain” or “necesito un pediatra”—and get matched instantly. The result: faster, more equitable access to trusted care.
Goals & Objectives
Remove linguistic and technical barriers in healthcare search by replacing medical jargon and long dropdown menus with plain, natural language.
Results & Impact
Users spend an average of 5+ minutes on the tool—exploring care options confidently. Early data shows higher completion rates, reduced drop-offs, and greater engagement among non-English speakers.
