Summary
Books That Heal is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers children battling chronic illnesses to become published authors and illustrators. We cover all costs of editing, publishing, and hosting book-signing events, ensuring each child’s story reaches the world. Royalties from every book sold are donated to charities chosen by the young authors and their families, creating lasting legacies of hope, creativity, and giving.
Goals & Objectives
Our mission is to empower and celebrate children with life-threatening illnesses by helping them write and publish their own stories. We provide a fun, creative outlet and honor each child with a book-signing event that makes them feel like a celebrated author.
Results & Impact
We’ve published nearly 100 books by children in our program, raising hundreds of thousands for pediatric charities. With a 100% family satisfaction rate, our work delivers measurable impact while giving each child a lasting legacy of hope and inspiration.
