Summary
Dr. B in 3, COSI’s Emmy® Award-winning animated video series hosted by Dr. Frederic Bertley, breaks barriers in STEAM education, delivering bite-sized, animated lessons that make complex topics – from AI to data privacy – accessible and exciting in under three minutes. Now in its fourth season, the series blends vibrant animation, music, and storytelling to spark curiosity across all ages and backgrounds, and is part of COSI’s national STEAM outreach, promoting awareness, equity, and engagement.
Goals & Objectives
Dr. B in 3 inspires curiosity in children, teens, and adults through engaging short-form videos. It serves as a launchpad for classroom and group conversation via discussion guides and democratizes access to STEAM education through integration with COSI’s Learning Lunchbox and Digital STEAM Portal.
Results & Impact
Dr. B in 3 has won multiple Emmy® Awards – three in 2024 – and expands STEAM literacy across 40 states and 7 countries via integration with COSI’s Learning Lunchboxes. The series democratizes and promotes STEAM literacy and education by engaging diverse learners through art and digital storytelling.
