About This Project

Summary

Charles “Lenny” Lunn, a non-speaking autistic artist, creates vivid, emotionally charged paintings that reveal a powerful inner voice. Ahead of his first solo exhibit in Washington, D.C., he partnered with Laura Evans Media to raise awareness, position him as a rising artistic talent and neurodiversity advocate, and drive media coverage and community support for his May 17 debut. The project aimed to tell a story of resilience, creativity, and reimagining communication beyond spoken words.

Goals & Objectives

LEM’s goal was to develop a respectful, story-driven media strategy rooted in authenticity and impact. We knew we needed to partner with the right reporters to tell Charles’ story with empathy and respect, and to help the public understand his unique voice and redefine what it means to be heard.

Results & Impact

Charles found his voice through vibrant paintings and poignant poetry. Now, thanks to LEM, the world is listening. We landed high-impact coverage in major outlets, reaching 450M+; drew crowds to Charles’s opening, and elevated his profile—laying a powerful foundation for future exhibits & advocacy.
