About This Project
Summary
CGI is building what’s next – forging partnerships and mobilizing resources to support critical programs that are helping people around the world. In 2005, President Clinton transformed philanthropy with a simple idea: hard problems can be solved by committing to act together. Today, this has grown into a community of more than 10,000 leaders who have helped more than 500 million people around the world. On September 24-25, CGI marked its 20th anniversary with its signature commitment to action.
Goals & Objectives
The CGI 2025 Meeting brought together more than 2,000 global and industry leaders to respond to escalating humanitarian needs and shrinking resources. CGI aimed to serve as a counterweight to cutbacks in funding and keep advancing solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
Results & Impact
At the 2025 meeting, members of the CGI community launched 108 new programs that address humanitarian crises, climate resilience, global health, and more. The programs launched at CGI 2025 are mobilizing $5.1 billion to these urgent challenges -- 75 percent of which has already been secured.
