About This Project

Summary

In 2025, Ripple committed $25M, mainly in stablecoin Ripple USD, to DonorsChoose and Teach For America to support U.S. classrooms. Teach For America (TFA) used $10M to fund new teachers, expand tutoring, and increase access to emerging tech. DonorsChoose (DC) used $10M for teacher requests during Teacher Appreciation Week and will use the rest to support STEM learning. Ripple employees also received gift codes to fund DC projects of their choice.

Goals & Objectives

This initiative addresses urgent student needs—teacher prep, tutoring, and learning materials—to improve outcomes, reduce resource gaps, and boost economic mobility. By involving Ripple employees, Ripple reinforces its giving culture and highlights digital assets’ role in charity.

Results & Impact

TFA supported 2,400 new teachers, 1,600 students + educators in tech programs, and mobilized 8,000 educators to tutor 300,000 students. To date, DC funded 29,000 requests for supplies reaching 13,700 schools. Ripple employees supported 255 schools, reflecting Ripple’s strong culture of giving.
