About This Project
Summary
Redwing builds autonomous drones to deliver medical supplies to remote communities in India. Tasked with creating a case study film, our approach to this was to create a heartfelt documentary which told one illustrative tale of the problem as well as the solution. We picked up the story of Ratika, a girl living in one of the districts, who suffers from Sickle Cell Disease. Through her eyes and the surrounding community, we told a larger story of ingenuity, resilience and progress.
Goals & Objectives
The film was meant to serve as a showcase for project strategic partners and investors to watch since Redwing operates on the model of state and institutional grants. Besides this, the film was also an attempt to present a somewhat nebulous and 'hi-tech' service to an everyday audience.
Results & Impact
The film helped the company acquire new contracts with more states in India, allowing even more far-flung communities to gain access to modern healthcare. And although dismantled as of today, USAID had also renewed a cycle of funding for the company owing to the film.
