About This Project
Summary
In response to the wildfires that impacted families and communities across Southern California, the CAA Foundation, CORE, the LAUSD Education Foundation, and EIF came together to launch the SoCal Fire Fund. This collaboration is providing immediate and long-term support for community-centered recovery initiatives that aid the most vulnerable impacted by the January 2025 fires. The coalition, along with Orbital Studios, created a PSA to raise awareness and funding for its effort.
Goals & Objectives
As one of many strategies to raise awareness and funds for fire victims, SoCal Fire Fund created a PSA highlighting the long road to recovery for Angelenos and the importance of the effort. The PSA is voiced by Jaime Ray Newman and was created as an in-kind donation by Orbital Studios.
Results & Impact
"There is Hope," airing on broadcast, syndicated, and streaming platforms and terrestrial and streaming radio, has generated $12 million+ in donated media in 4 months. SoCal Fire Fund has raised $6 million+, providing case mgmt in affected areas and distributing $4 million+ in direct cash assistance
