“The goal would be to one day speak Dolphin.” Showcasing DolphinGemma, a model in early stages that will allow people to understand and possibly communicate with dolphins. Featuring Google Researcher Dr. Thad Starner and Dolphin expert Dr. Denise Herzing.

Our goal was to demonstrate Google’s AI impact and mission via the passionate problem solvers who are innovating within Google.
Results & Impact
35K+ engagements (+54% vs. channel BM on X), with positive coverage in the Verge and ArsTechnica, among others. One of our most commented-upon stories, with notable mentions from Min Choi (100K views) and Lex Fridman (4.4M followers). Dr. Denise Herzing was later named to Time’s AI 2025 List.
