About This Project
Summary
Little Language Lessons is a collection of bite-sized learning experiments powered by Google's Gemini AI model. Tiny Lesson provides just-in-time vocabulary, phrases, and grammar for any situation; Slang Hang generates authentic conversations that feature native expressions and slang; Word Cam turns your camera into an instant vocabulary tool. Our strategy was to meet learners in everyday contexts and use AI to help make language practice feel more natural, personal, and embedded in real life.
Goals & Objectives
We wanted to explore how AI can help close the gap between traditional language study and real life. The goal was to empower learners, helping them engage more often, internalize language in context, and build everyday learning habits.
Results & Impact
In the 3 months since launch, Little Language Lessons reached 474K users from over 200 different countries. Learners generated over 650K custom lessons, with over 27% returning for additional sessions, suggesting users embrace the platform as an opportunity for contextual, self-directed learning.
