About This Project
Summary
Schizophrenia is a complex, often misunderstood, mental health disorder complicated by societal stigmas. Raising awareness and reducing stigma is crucial in providing effective care and support for those living with schizophrenia. This editorial campaign was part of an ongoing editorial commitment to the topic and was published across three Healthline Media sites. The campaign includes video, articles, landing pages, a schizophrenia podcast and promotion in our various health newsletters.
Goals & Objectives
This editorial campaign was designed to share informative, actionable, and inspirational content to raise awareness, foster empathy and reduce stigma around schizophrenia. We used a multimedia approach (video, articles, podcast and newsletter promotion) to reach the audience on and off our platform.
Results & Impact
Led by a video featuring Michelle Hammer who lives with schizophrenia, we were two times more effective at reaching the schizophrenia audience (vs. general prevelance rate). The audience also spent 20% more time onsite than our average visitor showing deep engagement.
