About This Project
Summary
This podcast brings to life stories of artists and engineers from the art-science groups Experiments in Art and Technology. Each episode uses archival audio, pulled from Getty’s archives, to tell stories of creativity and innovation—in the words of the figures themselves. The series is hosted by actor Ahmed Best, drawing on his love of art and science to weave stories of resilience in the face of failure, boundary pushing, and experimentation.
Goals & Objectives
This series makes archival materials accessible to the public, items that regular museum-goers are not often aware of; engages audiences with art in new ways, using biography, which can be broadly engaging; highlight the stories of famous and lesser known figures in art history.
