Summary
Every Court Has a Story is a user-generated content campaign that empowers communities to share videos about their local basketball courts, transforming stories into real action to renovate and revive these spaces. With the reach of our portfolio brands SLAM and Five-Star Basketball, plus partners like Local Hoops, Victory, and Project Backboard, we amplify every story far and wide. Even the NBA showed us some love!
Goals & Objectives
We have two goals: 1) Make it easy and accessible for anyone to share a court’s story by phone. 2) Turn these stories into visible, memorable action that secures funding and partnerships to restore courts, uplift communities, and keep youth playing.
Results & Impact
In 2025, we collected 37 court stories from 11 countries and 21 U.S. cities. Over the last three years, we’ve renovated 4 winning courts and refurbished 5 additional submissions, reaching thousands of youth and families with safer, inspiring places to play and build community pride.
