About This Project
Summary
In collaboration with local artists, we led a two-year, arts-based engagement process to co-create a Concept Plan for a new 35-acre park in Petaluma, CA—informing programs, operations, and design. We engaged 5,000+ residents, centering marginalized communities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, immigrant) through murals, poetry, music, and a bilingual coloring book. Findings were shared back through original artworks, including a mural, music video, performances, and exhibitions.
