About This Project
Summary
It's no secret that smartphones are harmful for young minds, but saying no to kids isn't easy. Wait Mate is a movement to let kids be kids for longer, by rallying likeminded parents together to hit pause on smartphones and extend the nourishing, play-based childhood kids deserve. We helped the organisers of Wait Mate bring this movement to life through an identity designed to speak to parents and empower them, and a website that connected the community through a pledge to hit pause.
Goals & Objectives
Get parents to pledge to hit pause on smartphones for their young kids. Empower the parents by connecting them based on school and year cohort.
Results & Impact
300+ parents made the pledge in the first 2 days of launch.
