About This Project

Summary

Life Over Debt is a national health equity campaign raising awareness of the financial burden cancer patients face. Created through a partnership between advocacy groups and not-for-profit credit unions, it offers financial inclusion products tailored to pause debt and trauma-informed financial counseling to patients in treatment. Its national reach empowers patients to prioritize healing over hardship and drives systemic change in how affordability and access are addressed in cancer care.

Goals & Objectives

Primary goals are build a cross-sector coalition, co-design financial solutions for cancer patients, and spark a national conversation about the hidden cost of cancer. The campaign aims to reach underserved communities, integrate financial wellness into care, and measure impact with patient outcomes

Results & Impact
