Summary

Joshua Arce is a citizen of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and the president and CEO of the largest nonprofit serving the needs of Native Americans. Partnership With Native Americans collaborates with up to 500 Tribal partners year-round in remote communities to supply material aid, capacity-building resources, and community-based solutions, taking care to respect the self-determined goals of the tribes and provide culturally appropriate approaches and resolutions at the right time.

Goals & Objectives

Less than 1% of all U.S. charitable giving supports Native causes. Josh works to build strong, self-sufficient Native communities through education, resource distribution and emergency preparedness that serves immediate needs and supports long term solutions.

Results & Impact

o In 2024, PWNA distributed more than 493,000 pounds of food to nearly 60,000 individuals and advanced emergency response training with FEMA; provided over 166 scholarships to college students with a 95% matriculation rate; and responded to emergency requests from wildfire and flooding.
