About This Project
Summary
Clarence’s Greatest Gift is an original children’s book that was concepted, written, illustrated, and promoted by Tampa-based advertising agency PPK, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) to help fund a cure for childhood cancer. It is a story about a happy-go-lucky cloud who must find his purpose after accidentally raining on a big party. The book deals with themes of inclusion, as well as teaching kids to see the best in themselves and others.
Goals & Objectives
PPK aimed to go beyond traditional fundraising by creating a children’s book that engaged the families that the NPCF supports. By producing it entirely in-house, pro bono, PPK was able to maximize every dollar going directly to the mission of funding a cure for pediatric cancer.
Results & Impact
The campaign raised $10,000 for NPCF. By engaging families and spreading awareness through hospital visits, social media, and influencer partnerships, Clarence’s Greatest Gift made a significant impact in funding pediatric cancer research while creating a meaningful connection with the community.
