About This Project
Summary
“You Good, Man” is a men’s mental health campaign for working-age men in high-stress, male-dominated jobs. Centered on a quiet, reflective video, it opens with a simple check-in—“You good, man?”—turning an everyday phrase into an opening for real support. Guided by conversations with 75 Rhode Island men, the campaign uses muted visuals, steady tone, and authentic language to break the silence and spark meaningful connections across digital and workplace settings.
Goals & Objectives
Reduce stigma, spark approachable conversations, and guide Rhode Island men to mental health resources. The campaign aimed to deliver a message that feels real and local, helping men check in with themselves and each other while increasing engagement with support services.
Results & Impact
In its first month, “You Good, Man” reached 1.46M people and drove 6,530 visits to yougoodman.org, 98% from new users. Visitors completed 1,546 actions, 60 survey responses rated 4+ for likelihood to check in on a friend, and five local news outlets featured the campaign, proving real engagement.
