About This Project
Summary
"War Serves No One." For the past twelve years, the Rena's Promise Foundation has dedicated its time to creating a more ecumenical world free of racism, prejudice and hatred. Chronicling the history & creating a massive archive of the first women in Auschwitz, & interviewing those women in their 80 and 90s, we tell their story solely from a female perspective - a story of sisterhood, resilience, and courage that inspires young people to examine why history has been ignored these women, until now.
Goals & Objectives
To educate, enlighten and create an international conversation about why women and girls are the first targets in war, and how can we change this pattern to create a more ecumenical world for all people, no matter their race, culture, gender, religion or ethnicity.
Results & Impact
Since its release in January 2024, the RPF team has toured across over N. America & the world (Israel, India, Slovakia, Spain) connecting Holocaust history to current events, & offering audiences hope and creative solutions to handling polarities and differences of opinion.
