About This Project
Summary
Anuja is a 22-minute Oscar-nominated short film distributed by Netflix, following a young girl in Delhi torn between child labor and education. The film campaign integrated global streaming, PR and social media amplification, influencer and celebrity engagement, strategic partnerships, educational tools, and targeted advocacy to use the film to drive awareness and catalyze real-world change.
Goals & Objectives
The campaign aimed to raise awareness of child labor and girls education, elevate global conversation through high-profile distribution and media, support frontline organizations, and engage audiences in action via educational tools, screenings, and policy partnerships.
Results & Impact
Anuja and the campaign reached an estimated 14 million people, earned an Oscar nomination, raised $20,000 for street children in Delhi, and received widespread acclaim. It inspired school screenings, global media coverage, and planned policy engagements with ILO, the U.S. State Dept., and others.
