About This Project

Summary

#IGetIt is a national mental health awareness campaign powered by SixDegrees.org that partnered with 13 nonprofits and global brands like Calm and BetterHelp to distribute tools, videos, and live conversations. By blending celebrity storytelling with lived experience, the campaign reframed mental health support as normal, necessary, and personal—offering free access to therapy, guided meditations, and practical resources for people at every stage of their journey.

Goals & Objectives

To reduce stigma around mental health through real, relatable storytelling; to increase access to mental health tools; and to amplify grassroots nonprofits doing critical work in overlooked communities nationwide.

Results & Impact

#IGetIt generated 3.39M impressions. Our content had a 5.47% engagement rate, and reach grew 154% from April, with 577,458 users engaged and 1,326 new followers. We distributed 32,761 mental health resources, and 80% of users discovered a nonprofit for the first time.
