Summary
Ten by Three ends extreme poverty through a bold formula we pioneered: Buy 10 products -pay artisans 2.5x fair trade and require them to launch three businesses. The true innovation is Artisan & You, a tech platform we built that breaks language and connectivity barriers, enabling direct letter exchanges between artisans and buyers. In doing so, it humanizes global commerce, builds empathy across continents, and proves that dignity, not charity, is the real solution to poverty.
Goals & Objectives
Empower artisans to exit extreme poverty through entrepreneurship by purchasing 10 products a month at 2.5x fair trade Launch a scalable platform enabling two-way communication between artisans in extremely remote villages and customers worldwide despite literacy, language, or tech barriers.
Results & Impact
Over 7,000 letters exchanged through A&Y, creating deep emotional bonds between artisans and customers. Artisans report greater dignity and confidence. Artisans have launched 150000+ businesses, supporting education and healthcare for their families—proving poverty can be ended, not managed.
