Summary
In 2023, with partners like Gates Fdn, REDF, Jobcase & others, JFF launched an ambitious North Star -that by 2033, 75M Americans facing barriers to economic advancement will have QUALITY jobs. These individuals include women, people of color, and people with records of arrest, conviction, or incarceration. Visualizing and normalizing these pathways (apprenticeships, junior colleges, certificated programs) is essential to ensuring that everyone is able to action the options on offer.
Goals & Objectives
Quality jobs are key to economic success for people, businesses, communities, and our country. But more than half the people in the U.S. labor force do not have a quality job that supports them and their families. To reach 75M, it's time to rewrite the 4-yr college narrative and show EVERYONE a path
Results & Impact
Our road to 75M will take bold action, deep collaboration & greater investment. We established the 75M Network & measurement tools. When we launched, 38M Americans in North Star populations were in quality jobs. In 2025, we saw over 10M MORE workers in quality jobs. This progress is powerful.
