Summary
In 2023, with Gates Fdn, REDF, Jobcase etc, JFF launched an ambitious North Star-that by 2033, 75M Americans facing barriers to economic advancement will have QUALITY jobs. These individuals include people without 4-year degrees, women, people of color, and people with records of arrest, conviction, or incarceration. Creating the 75M Network & visualizing these pathways (apprenticeships, junior colleges, certificated programs) is essential to ensuring that EVERYONE is able to action the options.
Goals & Objectives
Quality jobs are key to economic success for people, businesses, communities, and our country. But more than half the people in the U.S. labor force do not have a quality job that supports them and their families. To reach 75M it's time to rewrite the 4-yr college narrative and show EVERYONE a path.
Results & Impact
Our road to 75M will take bold action, deep collaboration & greater investment. We established the 75M Network & measurement tools. When we launched, 38M Americans in North Star populations were in quality jobs. In 2025, we saw over 10M MORE workers in quality jobs. This progress is powerful.
