Today, she pioneers ethical tech solutions to protect vulnerable communities, leveraging deep expertise in trauma-informed systems, digital safety, and responsible innovation.

As COO at Parasol Cooperative, Sandy leads mission-driven technological innovation to protect vulnerable communities. She combines nonprofit leadership with cutting-edge technology, developing trauma-informed, ethical, and scalable solutions that enhance safety and digital rights.
Results & Impact
Sandy’s direct services programs transformed national and state responses to trafficking. She’s changed laws to end child marriage and protect child trafficking victims, and helped Parasol build the first trauma-informed AI chatbot now hosted on national hotlines to support survivors.
