About This Project
Summary
A stirring panel conversation among Asian American luminaries, interspersed with performances and stand-up comedy. Moderated by Juju Chang and featuring BD Wong, David Henry Hwang, Rosalind Chao and more. In honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month and during a pivotal moment for Asian American representation in the arts, ALL ARTS teamed up with The Serica Initiative to host this wide-ranging and bold conversation with celebrated artists.
Goals & Objectives
By combining ALL ARTS’ inclusive, multi-platform access to creative expression with the Serica Initiative’s mission to amplify voices in the Asian diaspora, the collaboration aimed to build bridges with new audiences, lessen cultural gaps and foster cross-community dialogue.
Results & Impact
With the live capture of the panel, made freely available by ALL ARTS, the conversation doesn't have to stop! The full YouTube version of the program has received over 14,000 views and comments like, “Keep the conversation open. Keep shining the flashlight!” and “Thank you for sharing this.”
