About This Project

Summary

Shine Forward (SFW) is an unbranded micro-influencer campaign engaging rare epilepsy caregivers in the Dravet syndrome (DS) and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) communities. Using authentic voices of caregiver micro-influencers, SFW shared impactful unbranded social media content with a targeted audience. The campaign was designed to inspire and empower caregivers, foster a sense of community, raise awareness, share valuable resources and increase UCB's visibility in rare disease communities.

Goals & Objectives

SFW aimed to: Inspire and empower caregivers of children with DS and LGS to celebrate everyday victories; Increase UCB’s visibility in rare disease communities; raise awareness of and develop trust in UCB's SFW resources; and foster a sense of connection among caregivers navigating complex disease.

Results & Impact

SFW achieved strong results in terms of reach, engagement, and community growth. Total Posts: 102; Total Engagements: 21.5K+; Average ER: 3.5%; Total Impressions/Views: 875.2K; ~30% influencer follower growth; 200%+ UCB instagram follower growth
