About This Project
Summary
“Her Voice,” a volunteer-created and volunteer-produced benefit on a minimal budget, was presented by United Help Ukraine (UHU) and Marigold Magazine, celebrating Ukraine’s heroic women—pillars of family and resilience—at historic Alexandria’s iconic WWII Torpedo Factory. This event was now in its 2nd year. Fashion, art, music, and cuisine blended with grassroots activations, social influencers, and strategic cross-promotions to spark DMV buzz, raising curiosity and driving ticket sales.
Goals & Objectives
Raise Awareness of UHU, and our mission to support Ukraine in the Washington DMV area. Raise $ to support UHU's Family Resilience Project, providing therapeutic support for war-traumatized women and children. Introduce diverse Americans to Ukrainian culture.
