Summary
Out of Bounds consists of four short-form public service announcements (PSAs), each exploring facets of the victim experience, inside and outside the world of sports. Each PSA is paired with a long-form roundtable discussion that expands on the topics and nuances showcased within the PSAs. #WeRideTogether, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating abuse in sports, creates educational assets in the form of short videos to promote awareness of key topics pertaining to safeguarding and survivorship
Goals & Objectives
Given the stigma around abuse, #WeRideTogether aimed to provide insight into what a victim’s experience is really like. We offered language and imagery on the victim/survivor experience to promote awareness and to lessen the burden for victims/survivors. To educate and inspire cultural change.
Results & Impact
In two weeks, one PSA organically received 12.5M+ views and was translated into Turkish, Persian, and Russian. ‘It's Not Just A Ride Home’ won the Best Under 5 Minute Film category at the New York International Film Awards. The series, with 29M+ impressions, has been shared by survivors and experts.
