Summary
Venture Labs, which was sponsored by JP Morgan Chase, is an online accelerator program for idea-stage Entrepreneurs with Disabilities, designed to take participants from having a great idea to having their first customer in only eight weeks. Participants are offered online courses, ‘how to’ videos, downloadable content, networking opportunities, one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions, among other business development opportunities, all free of charge.
Goals & Objectives
Serve 250+ founders this year and help take them through our startup funnel, which begins with Venture Labs. Our goal is to help each founder prepare to enter one of our more advanced accelerator programs where they are then prepared to pitch to investors and receive their seed or series A funding.
Results & Impact
Venture Labs has been an expansion of our mission to support disabled founders with the tools and resources they need to start and scale companies. Overall, start-ups that have participated in 2GI’s programming have collectively raised approx. $70M in funding from investment, revenue and acquisition
