About This Project
Summary
Our Children’s Trust is the only non-profit public interest law firm providing strategic, campaign-based legal services to youth from diverse backgrounds to secure their constitutional legal rights to a safe climate. On the heels of an historic win in favor of the youth in the case Held v. Montana, we helped generate a system of microsites for current cases underway. The websites promote fundraising and act as a resource hub for trial information, latest updates and press and media coverage.
Goals & Objectives
The microsites aimed to advance education of children’s constitutional climate rights and support their mission. It was important to organize the complex information into an engaging story easily accessible to a varied audience, and develop a site structure that can be applied to future cases.
Results & Impact
The websites have supported OCT’s efforts to communicate clearly, consistently and confidently about their groundbreaking work and vision for the future, and they have recently appeared in the NYTimes celebrating landmark legal wins including Held v. State of Montana and Navahine v. Hawai’i DOT.
