About This Project

Summary

AARP Policy Now is a video series produced by the AARP Public Policy Institute to promote their complex research reports and high level findings highlighting a myriad of policy topics focused on older adults and aging. These video segments provide a snap shot of the latest data and policy solutions connected to health and economic security, housing, age discrimination, work & jobs, and family caregiving for those 50+. These are some of the nation's most pressing challenges as society ages.

Goals & Objectives

The goal of this series is to amplify, & promote these complex research reports using a targeted social media & on-line strategy to drive traffic to the report's landing pages. The segments are produced for policy makers, media & advocates arming them with facts & evidence for impactful change.

Results & Impact

The monthly series is distributed via Twitter (X), Face Book, & other AARP channels and started in 2021. To date, AARP has recored more than 4.37 million views on X, 600+ views on Face Book and 115K views on AARP.org channels.
