About This Project

Summary

With a growing trend toward skills-based hiring, young people are interested in more flexible and affordable postsecondary education pathways. National nonprofits American Student Assistance and Jobs for the Future set out to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of viable, diverse nondegree pathways to career and economic success. These include apprenticeships, certificates, and occupation licenses.

Goals & Objectives

Thought leadership aimed at driving behavioral and systems change among diverse audiences including students, educators, employers, and policymakers.

Results & Impact

The Multiple Pathways campaign has laid a strong foundation for changing narratives around education-to-career pathways. This included developing a knowledge hub at Expand Opportunities.org, resulting in millions of media impressions and high levels of engagement on social/at conferences.
