About This Project
Summary
ARWell PRO is an augmented-reality exercise platform built for healthcare providers to motivate, prescribe, and monitor therapeutic movement across hospital, clinic, school, telehealth, and home settings. Using patented MOCAST™ computer-vision technology, patients use their bodies as the controller—no wearables required—making therapy more accessible, inclusive, and engaging while supporting clinical oversight and continuity of care.
Goals & Objectives
The project aimed to improve engagement in therapeutic exercise, support clinicians with flexible digital tools, bridge care gaps between visits and home programs, and design inclusive experiences that work across ages, abilities, and care environments without adding workflow burden.
Results & Impact
Across multiple research studies and pilots, ARWell PRO has consistently demonstrated increased engagement, motivation, and time on task compared to traditional therapy alone. Research spans school, clinical, and inpatient settings, supporting use across diagnoses, ages, and care environments.
