About This Project
Summary
With little humanitarian aid getting into Gaza and up to half of the population (estimated 1.1m people) facing starvation, Mercy Corps’ were seeking to deliver as many food kits as possible to families across the Rafah border. Documenting the moment offered a chance to show audiences just what delivering aid looks like — the work, the challenges, and the payoff when families are able to secure desperately needed supplies.
Goals & Objectives
To steward and engage current donors to grow their lifetime value; reach new donors and prospects through paid and organic promotion and educate audiences about Mercy Corps impact to raise further funds to support ground workers in Gaza helping to provide aid.
Results & Impact
Over $100,000 was raised to help deliver further food packages to those impacted in Gaza with 750 first time donors contributing to the crisis in the last quarter alone. Over 20,000 (new to list) supporters took action and signed our petition in support of a ceasefire.
