About This Project

Summary

There are ~70 million Americans who enrolled in Medicare, and 11,000 age into the program every single day. The average couple spends $300m on healthcare during retirement. 90% of Americans are on a suboptimal Medicare plan, and there’s a 19% higher mortality rate tied to poor Medicare plan selection. Our strategy was to use technology and a radically different incentive structure to become the only unbiased, independent Medicare brokerage to provide seniors the Medicare support they deserve.

Goals & Objectives

We built our Medicare brokerage to create a fundamentally different experience. We’ve built proprietary technology that allows us to be the only operator with fully detailed benefits data on all 24,000+ Medicare plans. We align incentives so our Advisors to provide unbiased guidance.

Results & Impact

Chapter’s NPS is 92, our annual retention rate of ~95%, and we review 100% of available plans to find the right one for our members. By comparison, the Medicare market has an average NPS of -12, a 50% annual retention rate, and only 8% of plans are reviewed.
