About This Project

Summary

As Gen Z and Millennials grow into the largest voting bloc, generational gerrymandering endangers their political power. Our Student Voting Heat Map tackles this by using data, interactive tools, and state report cards to encourage voter engagement. We train students to leverage this data to organize peers. By recognizing micro influencers and peer to peer organizing, we're increasing youth participation at community colleges and POC-serving schools, empowering them to vote and shape the future.

Goals & Objectives

Our goal is to empower young voters, using data-driven tools like the Student Voting Heat Map to raise awareness about voting rights, highlight disparities, and mobilize engagement. We aim to equip students, influencers, and campuses to navigate political barriers and strengthen civic participation.

Results & Impact

The Student Voting Heat Map raised awareness of voting rights, especially in states with restricted access. It visualized disparities, empowering young voters to navigate barriers. Our work led to youth influencers being invited as some of the first content creators to the RNC and DNC.
