About This Project
Summary
A recent Course Hero survey of 1,000 higher education faculty revealed that many educators still face uncertainties about the role of generative AI in their teaching practice. In response, Course Hero developed a four-week AI Academy intensive designed to bridge that gap by providing faculty with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to effectively integrate AI into their classrooms.
Goals & Objectives
The 4-week program equips faculty with tools and skills to teach effectively in the AI era. Participants learn to create assessments, understand AI's impact on academic integrity, and use AI to teach digital literacy.
Results & Impact
After the Academy, 92% of over 320 faculty felt prepared to use AI in their classrooms. This positive feedback led Course Hero to offer a second cohort and sparked interest from 80+ institutions in an AI bootcamp for their teaching and learning centers.
