About This Project
Summary
The CORE Score, a project by the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, seeks to redefine how American well-being is measured. Through a collaborative process, we developed a modern, user-friendly interface and data visualizations. Users can explore and compare scores at national, state, and county levels, identify well-being trends over time, and analyze differences across socioeconomic and demographic lines.
Goals & Objectives
Project aims to make CORE Score results more accessible and understandable, redefining well-being from an economic measure to a holistic view of overall well-being. The main objective is to enhance well-being for everyone, regardless of race, gender, age, education level, or socioeconomic status.
Results & Impact
The CORE Score data visualization will offer localized insights to policymakers, journalists, and scholars about the well-being of communities across America, empowering them to implement changes that enhance the success of all Americans.
