The 6th Annual Anthem Awards is proud to honor David and Michael Bronner with the 2026 Anthem Vision Award for challenging the business world to imagine a more purposeful, accountable, and regenerative future. For decades, the brothers have demonstrated that a company can be commercially successful while holding itself to a higher standard of responsibility—to its employees, its supply chains, the environment, and the communities it touches. Their leadership has helped expand the conversation around what businesses should be expected to contribute to the world.
What sets David and Michael apart is their willingness to push beyond recognition and toward transformation. After Dr. Bronner’s became one of the world’s highest-scoring B Corps, they chose to drop the certification because they believed the standard did not go far enough. Rather than simply reject the status quo, they helped develop the Purpose Pledge, creating a new framework for companies seeking to embed purpose into the way they govern, operate, and grow. Their approach challenges businesses not merely to communicate their values, but to make those values accountable and actionable.
David and Michael have spent decades proving that business can be a vehicle for progress and that companies have the power to help define what responsible business looks like next. The Anthem Awards are thrilled to recognize David and Michael Bronner with the 2026 Anthem Vision Award for refusing to accept the limits of existing models and using their influence to raise the standard for what business can, and should, be.
