About This Project

Summary

descrybe.ai is a free legal research engine with more than 3.3 million judicial opinions summarized & searchable via natural language. Our current offering is free but we will roll out paid - but affordable - features. We believe that AI can be used to increase access to the law & access to justice and we plan to model this for others. We have 1000s of searches per week, been on many podcasts, recently named 2 world-renowned advisors, & have been nominated for several awards – including a Webby!

Goals & Objectives

Our goal has always been to democratize access to the law by summarizing & making accessible all available state supreme & appellate plus federal district, appellate & supreme court cases. We just hit this goal, less than a year from launch. With 3.3M judicial opinions now available for free.

Results & Impact

We have been called the Robin Hood of legal tech as well as legal tech mavericks. We are not even one year old, and yet we are widely considered the front-runner in this space. We have users from all around the world and are disrupting an industry that sorely needs disruption and less injustice.
