About This Project

Summary

Instead of just dwelling on tech dystopia - from tracking-based surveillance capitalism to government surveillance to mega-companies choking innovation - our podcast asks, “What does it look like if we get it right?" Through curious conversations with leading minds in law and technology, we explore creative solutions to some of today’s biggest tech challenges. We want our audience to become deeply informed on vital tech issues and join the movement working to build a better future.

Goals & Objectives

To create an engaged tech-user community that can make informed choices about products they use & policies they support; to urge developers & other creators to consider their products’ ramifications; & to demonstrate to public officials how & why to think about tech with an eye to a better future.

Results & Impact

From Jan. 1, 2023 to Jan. 1, 2024, our Apple following grew by 92 percent & our Spotify following grew by 27 percent. (We’re also on Overcast, CastBox, & other platforms.) Since then, four of our 10 Season 5 episodes have landed in our all-time top 10 most downloaded.
