EY Microsoft AI Skills Passport

About This Project

Summary

EY and Microsoft launched the AI Skills Passport (AISP), a free, immersive learning experience for students 16 and older to learn about the fundamentals of AI and potential gateways to employment. The learning program is accessible on web and mobile platforms and participants can take the 10-hour course at their own pace. By completing the course, participants will receive an EY and Microsoft certificate to strengthen resumes and gain access to additional learning and employment resources.

Goals & Objectives

An EY survey found that 15% of Gen Z respondents feel satisfied with how their schools or employers are preparing them for the use of AI tools. AISP aims to bridge this gap by equipping learners with essential AI skills for the modern workplace, with a goal of upskilling one million individuals.

Results & Impact

AISP is active in 27+ countries (with plans to scale to 35) and is live in 5 languages (with 2 more on the way). AISP has 10,000 engaged students and 2,000 completions of the course. We’re scaling the program through in-person training workshops to supplement the digital training.
