Summary

The CREATE Plan is a groundbreaking research project aimed at strengthening and growing Delaware's creative economy and cultural tourism sector. This unique initiative engages a diverse range of Delawareans in shaping a shared vision for a thriving, inclusive, and interconnected creative sector. Preceding its 2024 unveiling, DAA collaborated with First Ascent to develop an engaging communications campaign, messaging strategy, and customized marketing materials targeting multiple audiences.

Goals & Objectives

The campaign's primary objective was to raise awareness among key stakeholders, such as elected officials at the state, county, and local level, business leaders, and the creative community, highlighting the economic impact of Delaware's creative sector and the need for increased access and equity.

Results & Impact

The campaign has proven successful, evidenced by positive public reception, media coverage, increased website traffic, social media followers, email subscribers, and downloads of project materials. The CREATE Plan has positioned Delaware as a leader in creative economy development.
