About This Project
Summary
The 20,000 Acts of Service program honors Pat Tillman’s legacy on our 20th Anniversary by uniting our community for a monumental goal: contributing 20,000 hours of volunteer service in the places where we live and work. The platform helps scholars and corporate partners initiate meaningful service projects and makes it simple for individuals to participate in these events. We believe that the foundation, our Tillman Scholars, and our partners will make a difference in the communities we serve.
Goals & Objectives
We've seen incredible interest from our community and partners since launching in 2024. This program connects Tillman Scholars to impactful work, inspiring them to host and join projects. Our 20th Anniversary goal is 20K hours, 20 new partners, and 200+ scholars engaged by April 2025.
Results & Impact
Since April, thousands of service hours have been logged. Inspired by Pat’s NFL career and decision to serve, our Tillman Scholars, partners, and community have hosted over 150 projects, 7,000 hours of service has been recorded, and 100+ scholars hosted or joined projects as of September 30, 2024.
