About This Project
Summary
In the summer of 2023 blood donations at the downtown Toronto blood donor centres had reached dangerous lows. We needed to help the community shake off the lethargy of isolation and re-ignite their passion for supporting this essential life-saving act.
Goals & Objectives
“This City Is In Our Blood” became the rallying cry of a vibrant grass-roots campaign with a vital purpose: remind downtown Toronto residents of their essential connection to one another through the power of blood donations.
Results & Impact
The most important measure of success for this campaign was getting people to show up and give blood. By tapping into Torontonians’ civic pride, we brought the cause closer to home. The results? By year's end, blood donation numbers were back to where they needed to be.
