Environment is the digital destination for young people who care about the planet. With a robust IG presence and innovative developments such as a climate action chatbot that sends direct DMs to a user’s inbox, Environment connects with readers through both news reportage and personal dialogue. By centering climate optimism, providing tangible high-impact climate actions, and drawing on pop culture, Environment speaks to young people about the climate crisis in a relevant and influential way.
Goals & Objectives
Our mission is to inform, empower, and mobilize young people on the climate crisis through education and action. We use content, fundraisers, voter drives, and petitions, focusing on marginalized narratives and environmental justice to center those most affected.
Results & Impact
Environment boasts over 850,000 followers on Instagram, with 6.5% year-over-year growth. We reach 3 million unique readers and garner 1.5 million engagements every month.
